  • Beach Staff Member
    • The Manchester Bath & Tennis Club is seeking Beach Staff Member applicants for our 2020 summer season. Reporting to the General Manager and Assistant Managers the Beach Staff Member is responsible for ensuring all Club Members have an exceptional and memorable experience by delivering high quality interactions with the utmost level of hospitality and exemplary customer service.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Participates in all daily activities including sweeping the decks, placing chairs, set up of umbrellas.
      • Cleaning of all surfaces including tables and windows.
      • Raking and removing seaweed from the beach.
      • Cleaning of restrooms, great room, kitchenettes, tennis area, and as needed.
      • Maintain clean work environment and safe surroundings at all times.
      • Empty trash receptacles throughout the property.
      • Set out propane tanks and ready grilling area.
      • Assist Bartenders as needed by suppling ice, cups and helping to clean, as needed.
      • Sweep tennis courts and provide general maintenance of area.
      • Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere through personal attention and maintains Club Member satisfaction with attention to details.
      • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
      • Responds efficiently and calmly to Member complaints and difficult situations.
      • Works collaboratively with Kitchen, Tennis and Pool Staff Members to enhance the efficiency of operations.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Kitchen Staff Member
    • The Manchester Bath & Tennis Club is seeking applicants for our 2020 summer season in a fast paced snack bar which is open seven days per week 11:00am – 4:00pm. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager the Kitchen Staff Member is responsible for ensuring all Club Members have an exceptional and memorable dining experience by delivering high quality food and beverage service with the utmost level of hospitality and exemplary customer service. The Kitchen Staff Member ensures that the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and adheres to all food service regulations.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Participates in all daily kitchen activities including, but not limited to;
      • Food preparation, meal assembly, point of sale tasks, opening preparations, cleaning, dish washing and closing prep.
      • Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere through personal attention and maintains Club Member satisfaction with attention to details.
      • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
      • Continually reviews policies and protocols to maintain high standards of operation.
      • Responds efficiently and calmly to customer complaints and difficult situations.
      • Works collaboratively with Kitchen Staff Members to enhance the efficiency of operations.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.
      • Maintain a clean work environment.
      • A passion and knowledge of the hospitality and restaurant industry desired.
      • ServSafe certification and CPR Training.

  • Lifeguard Staff Member
    • The Manchester Bath & Tennis Club is seeking Lifeguard Staff Member applicants for our 2020 summer season. Reporting to the General Manager and Aquatics Director the Lifeguard Staff Member is responsible for ensuring all Club Members have an exceptional and memorable experience by delivering high quality interactions with the utmost level of hospitality and exemplary customer service.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Participates in all daily pool activities including; cleaning the pool deck, placing chairs, set up of umbrellas.
      • Pool area
      • sweeping decks and stairs, arranging furniture neatly and empty trash receptacles.
      • Set up – remove vacuum, bring out clock, white board, back board, AED, pool test kit and log book, lifeguard tubes and lifeguard chair.
      • Test pool chemicals 5 times per day and record in log book, empty skimmer baskets, place lane dividers and update white board with weather, staff and tide information.
      • Maintain clean work environment and safe surroundings at all times.
      • Dress in appropriate lifeguard attire; red bathing suit, red lifeguard shirt/sweatshirt, red shorts, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen.
      • Administer First
      • aid as needed and record Incident reports
      • Remain diligent and alert, perform first responder and primary caregiver duties.
      • Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere through personal attention and maintains Club Member satisfaction with attention to details.
      • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
      • Continually reviews policies and protocols to maintain high standards of operation.
      • Responds efficiently and calmly to Member complaints and difficult situations.
      • Works collaboratively with Kitchen and Beach Staff Members to enhance the efficiency of operations.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.
      • Lifeguard certification and CPR Training.
